Biography
Lama Lena began studying with Lama Thubten Yeshe at Kopan Monastery in 1972. She then spent seven years in retreat in a cave above Tso Pema, India, under her root teacher Wangdor Rinpoche, serving as his translator and assistant for twenty-five years.
At the request of Zigar Choktrul Rinpoche and Wangdor Rinpoche, she teaches direct mind perception (Dzogchen and Mahamudra) internationally. She also studied Chinese medicine and provides medical assistance in Tso Pema and New Orleans.
