Ken Wilber is the founder of Integral Institute and author of Integral Spirituality, and the primary architect of Integral Theory—a framework that maps human knowledge and experience across multiple dimensions.
Biography
Kenneth Earl Wilber Jr. was born in Oklahoma City in 1949. After studying pre-med and psychology at Duke and the University of Nebraska, he left academia to pursue an independent study of Eastern and Western psychology, philosophy, and mysticism.
Wilber's Integral Theory organizes reality into quadrants, levels, lines, states, and types. His books include A Brief History of Everything, Sex Ecology Spirituality, and Integral Spirituality. In 2000 he founded Integral Institute; in 2007 he co-founded Integral Life.
