About
James Low is a teacher in the Byangter and Khordong lineages of Chhimed Rigdzin Lama, teaching Dzogchen in Europe and publishing translations and commentaries on the Great Perfection.
Biography
James Low began studying Tibetan Buddhism in India in the 1960s, receiving teachings from Kalu Rinpoche, Chatral Rinpoche, Kanjur Rinpoche, and Dudjom Rinpoche. He became a close disciple of Chhimed Rigdzin Lama (C. R. Lama), living in his home in West Bengal for many years.
Authorized to teach by C. R. Lama in 1976, James has taught Dzogchen in Europe for over four decades. He publishes translations and commentaries through Simply Being and the Vajra Press, making Byangter and Khordong lineage texts accessible to Western practitioners.
